Chroma Atelier Acrylic Medium 250ml – Thick Painting Medium

Atelier Thick Painting Medium has a viscosity similar to that of paint itself enabling it to blend seamlessly with paint and also be used in mixed media pieces. Ideal for wet in wet techniques, this medium must be mixed with paint in an even one-to-one ratio as the purpose of this medium is to create a wet blanket layer of paint also meaning an unlocking formula is not needed.

This medium allows you to move wet acrylic around in a painterly and more lucid way whilst still keeping control. This medium extends the manipulation time of acrylic paint and allows you to achieve wet in wet techniques that you can usually only achieve with oil paints.

Use in conjunction in pieces with other mediums like the Atelier Heavy Gel Satin Medium or Atelier Holding Medium for varied effects and textures in piece all while using the same paint.
